When quick-witted rhymes meet genuine Pinzgau hospitality, great entertainment is guaranteed. At the first Gstanzl singing event in Zell am See-Kaprun, our beer garden at Pinzga Bräu am See became the stage for a lively celebration of Alpine tradition.
In a wonderful setting directly on Lake Zell, numerous guests came together to enjoy a truly entertaining and memorable day.
Renowned Gstanzl Singers in Zell am See
Bavarian Gstanzl queen Renate Maier, Weber Bene and Josef “Bäff” Piendl took to the stage as well-known performers of this unique Alpine tradition.
Gstanzl singing is a traditional form of entertainment featuring short, humorous rhyming verses, often improvised on the spot and inspired by people in the audience or current situations. This spontaneity was exactly what made the day so special: with plenty of wit and improvisation, several guests became part of the performance and were treated to their very own Gstanzl.
Where Alpine Tradition Meets Hospitality
The Gstanzl singing event once again demonstrated just how vibrant traditional Alpine culture can be. Music, humor and conviviality have been part of life in the Alps for generations – and on this special day, Pinzga Bräu am See provided the perfect setting.
Located directly on the waterfront with views of the surrounding mountains, our Pinzga Bräu combines traditional Austrian tavern culture with one of the most beautiful settings in Zell am See. We were therefore especially delighted that our beer garden was chosen as the venue for this successful premiere organized by the Zell am See-Kaprun Tourist Board.
A Day to Remember
A welcoming beer garden, plenty of laughter and countless spontaneous rhymes: the first Gstanzl singing event in Zell am See-Kaprun was a wonderful celebration of Alpine tradition and good entertainment.
