Pinzga Bräu by the Lake Zell is far more than a classic tavern – it brings together cozy, authentic hospitality with true brewing craftsmanship from its in-house brewery. In producing our natural, unfiltered beer, we place the highest value on regional quality, using only local ingredients such as hops from the Mühlviertel region and barley malt from Grieskirchen region in Austria. Alongside our classic beer styles, we also create seasonal specialties – from a rich Christmas bock to an amber autumn brew and a refreshingly hoppy summer light beer.
But it’s not just beer enthusiasts who will appreciate this special place by Lake Zell: Pinzga Bräu is also considered one of the most beautiful spots around Lake Zell. As you enjoy the creamy head of your freshly poured beer, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the sparkling lake.
Summer, indulgence & conviviality
During the summer season (mid-May to mid-September), we delight our guests with traditional Austrian cuisine, complemented by regional specialties from the Pinzgau region. Whether hearty, rustic, or refined – this is where culinary enjoyment meets true regional authenticity by Lake Zell. A particular highlight is our weekly “Frühschoppen”, where good company, music, and great food come together in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
