- From Germany you travel toll-free via the Munich–Salzburg motorway, exiting at Siegsdorf. From there, continue through Inzell, Steinpass, Lofer, and Saalfelden to Zell am See.
- From Switzerland take the Inntal motorway and exit at Wörgl. Then follow the route via Kitzbühel and Mittersill, or alternatively via Kitzbühel – St. Johann – Saalfelden to Zell am See.
- From Italy & Slovenia take the Tauern motorway (A1) towards Salzburg, exit at Bischofshofen, and continue on the B311 federal road to Zell am See (approx. 45 km from the motorway exit).
- From Vienna take the A1 motorway to Salzburg, then either travel via the small German corner or take the A10 Tauern motorway to the Bischofshofen exit, continuing on the B311 to Zell am See.
Please note: In Austria, motorway toll stickers ("Vignette") are mandatory.
You can travel comfortably to Zell am See station on the Österreichische Bundesbahnen Railway. From there we will be happy to pick you up with our hotel bus and take you to the GRAND HOTEL directly on Lake Zell.
