1. Großglockner High Alpine Road: The famous Alpine Road leads to the
highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3,798 m). Gentle climbs and
simple bends do not overload engines of older years. Along the road there are a lot of
exhibitions, educational and panoramic trails as well as numerous rest stops.
Great views of the sea Three-thousanders as well as the "Glocknermassiv" leave the hearts of pleasure riders and old-timer pilots beat faster. (Toll road)

2 Heiligenblut: A world-famous sight that is well known:
The proud, late Gothic church, behind the majestic pyramid of the Grossglockner.
That's how you imagine the sight of Heiligenblut and that's how it is.
The Glocknerdorf is probably due to its unique mountain scenery
rightly called the most beautiful mountain village in the Alps.

Großglockner High Alpine Road

Only 20 kilometers away from the hotel you will reach the Großglockner High Alpine Road. The 48km long pass road leads deep into the center of the largest national park in Austria. The view of the 3000 peaks makes your hearts beat faster. In addition, the numerous restaurants and exhibitions along the pass road provide plenty of variety. The highlight for classic car pilots is certainly the automobile exhibition on the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe with a magnificent view of the Grossglockner and the Pasterze.

Attractions: 

1.  Panoramastraße Stubachtal: One of the most scenic valleys called the Tauern.
The name comes from Stubach "dusting water." The valley includes 18 lakes, 25 glaciers, 25 alpine pastures and is about 17 km long .
With 13 bends, one drives along the maufreien Panoramastrasse of Uttendorf (804 m) to the bottom Enzinger (1,480 m).
The road was build in 1921 - 1926 and in 1997 it was completely renovated. The valley must have been many thousands of years filled with ice.
Along the road there are many interesting and cultural assets and sights, such as the remarkable Hof "Wiedrechtshausen" with a sundial from the 18th century. Numerous smaller waterfalls, beautiful views in the region of glaciers, a beautiful broadleaf mixed forest, the natural preserve "Dorfer Öd "and many more.

2. Die Rudolfshütte & die Weißsee Gletscherwelt: Secluded from noise and stress and surrounded by numerous peaks of 3000m, the Berghotel Rudolfshütte lies at 2.315 m above sea level directly in the Hohe Tauern National Park and can only be reached by cable car of the Weißsee Glacier World. In addition to the cozy lounges and a beautiful sun terrace, the Berghotel has 90 comfort and family rooms. Besides, the exhibition "The Rudolfshütte - from small shelter to mountain hotel ***" can be visited.

down to the shore of the Königssee, which measures 192 meters at its deepest point.
Who wants to discover the impressive natural scenery around the most beautiful mountain lake of Bavaria, has to use the boat. The boat trip to the peninsula St. Bartholomä takes about 30 minutes.

2 Watzmann: The Watzmann is an impressive mountain range in the national park
Berchtesgaden. The middle peak is the third highest summit in Germany with 2,713 m above sea level. A clear view of the Watzmann can be enjoyed on the
Aschauerweiherstraße, directly at the junction to Aschauweg.
