Frequently asked questions about the GRAND HOTEL ZELL AM SEE

At what time can I arrive or when do I have to check out?

On the day of arrival your room will be available from 3.00 p.m. onwards. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11.00 a.m.

Can someone pick me up from the train station?

If you arrive by train, we gladly provide a shuttle service to and from the Zell am See station (booking in advance). Please let us know via E-Mail or telephone: +43 (0) 6542 788

What equipment is provided for my baby at the GRAND HOTEL ZELL AM SEE?

A connection can be made between your mobile phone and your room telephone. This will then function as a baby monitor. If you need a babysitter just let us know. (Babysitter for a fee.)

In addition, we can provide you with the following items:

Is there a kids' club in the hotel?

Our Kids Club is open from Monday to Friday for children from 3 to 10 years during the high season. During the low season opening hours on enquiry. The opening hours: 04.30pm to 08.30pm.

Can I get a bathrobe and bathing shoes?

Bathrobes are in the room for you (also for children).
For the sake of the environment, we do not place bathing shoes in every room. If required, you can get the bathing shoes at the reception.

Is there a dress code at GRAND HOTEL ZELL AM SEE?

We thank you for wearing appropriate attire in our restaurants during the evening.

When do the restaurants and the bar open?

Breakfast: 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
Lunch: noon to 01.30 p.m.
Afternoon snack: 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. in the Imperial Café-Bar
Dinner: 6.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

We are delighted to welcome you in our restaurants. All restaurants, the Imperial Café-Bar and the Seebar are listed as non smoking areas. Our restaurant staff will be happy to take care of your specific needs.

What is the difference between the Classic Spa & the GRANDSPA range?

Classic Spa: In our CLASSIC wellness area you can use the indoor pool with underwater massage and Jacuzzi, 2 textile saunas (60°C & 80°C), relaxation room and fitness room.

GRANDSPA: Our GRANDSPA is open for you daily from 9.00 a.m.
until 7.30 p.m. The sauna can be used from 2.00 p.m. onwards (earlier on request). Massages and beauty treatments are also offered in the GRANDSPA.

Is there a wifi free of charge?

Our guests can use the wireless LAN internet access or the Internet-PC in the hotel lobby free of charge.

Are pets allowed at the GRAND HOTEL ZELL AM SEE?

Pets are allowed in our hotel. There is a charge of EUR 25,00 per day and pet (excluding food). If you would like to take your pet to the restaurant, then this is possible in our "Jägerstube". 

How much is the parking lot or the underground parking space?

For underground parking as well as for parking lots outside we will charge EUR 10,00 per night/car.

Where can I book the ski course for myself and my children?

We work together with the ski school Zell am See. It is an advantage if you book the ski course prior arrival as it may happen during holiday periods that the ski schools are fully booked.

How do I get from the hotel to the Schmittenhöhe ski area?

Several times a day the hotels ski shuttle bus brings you directly to the CityXpress- & Schmittenhöhe base station and back to the hotel, free of charge. Departure times vary depending
on the season.

Where do I get the ski tickets?

You can buy your ski passes directly at the reception, thus avoiding spending time queuing at the ticketoffice.
