This is done for security of the provider, if someone in wrongful comments and contributions content writes (insults, banned political propaganda, etc.). With the Grandhotel-Newsletter we inform you about events and our offers. If you want to receive our newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and information that allow us to verify that you are the owner of the email address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected. These data are used only for sending the newsletter and will not be disclosed to 3rd-parties.

By registering for the newsletter the GRANDHOTEL Zell am See saves your IP address and date of registration. This storage is used only for the evidence in the case that a 3rd-party abused an email address and logs in without the knowledge of the owner of the e-mail address.

Your approval to the storage of data, e-mail address and receipt of recurring newsletters can be revoked at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters itself, in your profile area or send a message to the above contact details.

Integration of services and content of 3rd-parties
It may happen that within our website you will access 3rd-party content, such as YouTube videos, Google maps or graphics. This always assumes that the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as "3rd-party") take user´s IP address. Interactive Conversations via WhatsApp®
We offer you the option, i.e., only with your consent, of messaging (chat) via WhatsApp®. If you utilize this function, our reception receives and sends messages in or from our communication platform, which is managed on our behalf by ReGuest GmbH. In this process, all messages are transmitted via the WhatsApp Business API, provided by the company Vonage. To ensure that we can respond to your messages quickly and efficiently, they are stored together with your and our messages from other channels (email, Re:Guest Messenger).
By using the chat, information is transferred to the messenger server. These data are information needed for the technical processing of the chat. The standardized data collection is carried out solely for the purpose of online consultation. The data required for the functions mentioned above are stored exclusively for these purposes.
Further analyses may only be conducted in an anonymous form for statistical purposes. The owner of all data collected during the use of Messenger is GRAND HOTEL ZELL AM SEE. The stored chat logs, which we must keep for evidence purposes for you and us, are not forwarded to third parties.


Usage of Facebook and Instagram Social Plugins

In the event of a border or hotel closure or a lockdown, you can also cancel at short notice, free of charge.

What happened if:
If you cannot take your well-deserved vacation because you are sick yourself, have tested positive for COVID or have to be quarantined because of a relative in the same household?

For this occasion we recommend the hotel cancellation insurance of the European Travel Insurance. 

We accept cash or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard).

Seasonal or weather-caused changes or cancellations of pre-announced hotel events and outside services are possible.
The room plans are schematic plans, certain deviations are possible in actual rooms. We are not responsible for printing errors.
